Co-operative Cinema: A Movement in Moving Image
To celebrate 180 years of Co-operation in Britain, I take a look at the movement’s use of film during the early part of the 20th century. Through early advertising and education, to anti-fascism and wartime messaging, we explore how Co-ops across Britain adapted to the medium of film during it’s golden age.
Made in partnership with the Co-operative Heritage Trust, with support from Co-operatives UK and the Midcounties Co-operative.
